With a new live music venue, major concert stages and immersive theatre experiences, Penticton is cranking up the entertainment factor when the sun goes down.

Looking for your next great night out? Here’s a snapshot of the shows, events, venues and creative experiences coming up in Penticton that you won’t want to miss.
New (again) to the live music scene is The Dream, which re-opened its doors under new ownership this month with widespread fanfare.
Fully renovated and reimagined, the venue breathes new life into the former Dream Café, a legendary stage that earned a reputation as one of Canada's most beloved listening rooms.
Today, The Dream carries that legacy forward, pairing an intimate atmosphere with a lineup of award-winning Canadian artists, emerging indie talent and unforgettable live performances. It's the kind of venue where every seat feels like the front row.

The music doesn't stop there. The Hub on Martin offers a lively atmosphere with original artists, cover bands and tribute acts, plus a high-energy dance floor and state-of-the-art sound system that keeps the party going all night long.

For something a little different, head just outside city limits to Frog City Café in Kaleden. Set among the gardens at Linden Gardens, the café pairs live music with good food and a serene garden setting.
On the big stage, the South Okanagan Events Centre attracts major concerts and touring performers, while the Cleland Community Theatre and the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre host everything from concerts and special events.

Penticton's theatre scene is rewriting the script. It's interactive, experimental and often found in unexpected places.
At Tempest Theatre, storytelling takes centre stage in unique and imaginative ways. Their upcoming production, Underworld, transforms the historic Naramata Inn into an immersive Halloween experience on October 31, 2026. Guests are guided through a theatrical journey while sampling local wines paired with specially crafted appetizers. Each character is connected to a featured wine and story, creating a one-of-a-kind tasting experience where the wine becomes part of the narrative. Costumes welcome.

Also on the horizon is Unfiltered, Tempest Theatre's festival of original works and bold new ideas. Taking place November 20-22 and November 27-29, the festival invites audiences into the creative process as artists share new stories, works in progress and thought-provoking performances inside their intimate downtown black-box theatre.
Another must-see on the events calendar is Many Hats Theatre, which brings productions to the Cannery Stage through the talents of local performers, directors, backstage crews and volunteers. Their upcoming production, Every Christmas Story Ever Told (And Then Some!), is packed with laughs, wild costumes, special effects and fast-paced sketches guaranteed to put audiences in the festive spirit. This production runs from November 13-December 6, 2026 on Friday & Saturday evenings, plus Sunday matinees.
These headline events will be drawing crowds from near and far, so you might just want to book your tickets and stay awhile.
